Chance Fischer was born and raised in the West End of Richmond, VA. His beginnings in rap were with Juan Pierce and a crew called NBF records at the age of 12. He began as just a battle rapper; thinking of music more as hobby than an actual career path. School was his priority and rhymes came second. It wasn't until his sophomore year in college that he decided to pursue his music full time. Out of this pursuit comes his debut into the world of hip-hop: "HERE."
Chance is now a rising senior at Cornell University majoring in Hospitality. But don't expect him to drop lines from great philosophers, Chance stays true to his Richmond roots with his music. Having recently been featured on numerous blogs (most notably The Smoking Section), the Interactive Launch Pad with DJ A Plus of Power 92.1, and "Cross My Heart and Hope to Fly" at The Camel last month; Chance is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
